Red Velvet Comeback: Umpah Umpah

I can’t believe it, I’m late again. So I didn’t even know that Red Velvet had a comeback until one of my friends asked me if I had listened to it. I said no and she had me listen to it right then and there. Keep in mind, it was the middle of our break and the bell was about to ring for it to end. Anyhow, let’s begin. Fun fact: As I am typing this, I am listening to it for the second time.

I personally like this comeback so much more the Zimzalabim. I liked it as soon as I listened to it, while Zimzalabim took me a few listens to like it. I think that Umpah Umpah gives a nice summer vibe and made me think of High School musical. Have you watched it? Anyway I think that this song was very good and that Red Velvet needs all the love and suppport we can give them.

Please go and support Red velvet by streaming their songs and voting for them. Go check out their song.

Until next time…

Seventeen Comeback: HIT

I’m so late, it irks me. This is my ultimate group and I am late posting me raving about their newest song release. You should know how it goes, I rave about how much I love it and then tell you to go support them. However since this is my ultimate group, I’m going to put in a little more than my opinion.

This comeback came at us so hard, but I absolutely love this song. They did so well on it and it is simply amazing. I am so happy that they made a comeback, I was waiting for a comeback since their last one. It’s really upbeat and it is so catchy. I could listen to it on repeat, but that wouldn’t get it views. The teasers got me really hyped for the song so when it came out and I didn’t get the notification right away, I was suprised and late.

I think that this song showcases a lot of members vocals that we don’t normally hear a lot of. This also meant that DK, Seungkwan and Woozi took a big step back from the song. I have to admit, I was kind of sad that Woozi didn’t have more parts. However, you do hear him a lot in the background. Jeonghan, Joshua, Mingyu and Jun had a lot of lines in this comeback. Using the line distribution video that I am looking at they had the most parts. Even though it seems that a lot of people didn’t contribute vocally, they did dance making it more even.

The8 had the least amount of lines. This is also kind of sad because his vocals are amazing. However going back to the balancing out, he has a dance break for himself. Similar to The8 the members who didn’t have a lot of vocal parts, danced in the front during the music video or had parts focused on dancing. I think that everyone had somewhat balanced parts and screen time during the music video. No matter what I still love the song and Seventeen.

Please love and support Seventeen by streaming the music video. And that’s all I have for now, I have to go memorize the fan chant.

My ID is Gangnam Beauty.

I just finished watching My ID is Gangnam Beauty. And oh my gosh, I loved it. I seem to love everything don’t I, lol. I don’t have a lot to say really because all my fangirl excitement has disappeared on me. I think the message behind the story of loving yourself is great and that more tv shows or dramas should support this. Even though there were a few rough topics and touchy topics, the kdrama had a lot of light, carefree, and cute moments. I really liked that they were able to incorporate all those different emotions together. I would recommend it to everyone who enjoys watching kdramas and needs something new to watch. I hope you enjoy it. This was such a short blog entry but hopefully I will have more to say in the future.

So until we meet again…

OMG!

Has anyone watched the newest episode of a-teen season 2? I just watched it and I am freaking out. I ran over to the computer right as the episode came to a close. I am so excited right now, I can’t even tell you the amount of times I felt like dying from happiness. Okay so there are spoilers a head so beware.

SPOILERS BEWARE

So Kim Hana and Jooha are dating!! Eek. It was so cute when they confessed, I was screaming into my pillow the entire time. The neighbors must have thought I was crazy. Okay so at first I didn’t ship them but now I do and it’s so cute. I could tell that Hana and Min weren’t going to end up with each other so I let go of my hopes of them being together. It’s just that Hana and Jooha are so cute. I can’t get enough of them and I hope their relationship lasts.

On anther note, I ship Ahhyun with Min, so finding out that she actually likes him is adorable. I think it’s a bit weird that she moved on from her previous crush so quickly but, I guess she just has some messed up feelings or she crushes on people too easily. Also that ending scene though. I loved seeing Hyunjin and I.N. I am a Stray Kids stan, if you didn’t know. I suppose they are playing as Ahhyun’s friends or classmates since they know who Min is, but Hyunjin was acting kind of jealous. But that’s just what I think as I scrambled to make sense of it through my own screams. I mean I had been expecting them to make an apperence since I saw it posted previously throughout youtube but I didn’t expect it in this episode.

Okay so that’s all I have for now. Thanks for reading my mess of fangirl excitement. Do you watch A-Teen season 2? Have you watched season one? I absolutely love the series both seasons, and I recommend it to you too. I hope you like it too.

So until we meet again…

Rereading

So you know that moment when you are reading a book again for maybe the thousandth time. It is all fine and dandy and it’s going great. You absolutely love the book and it feels like reading it for the first time again. But then you think back to when you read previously and you remember all the bad things that are going to happen. Then you have that horrible sinking gut feeling, yeah that’s how I feel right now. I was just lying on my bed reading, “The Elite,” [part of the selection series(definitly recommend it, I love it. It’s one of my fave book series)]and I was having fun. Then I remembered which characters were going to die in the next book and the sadness and pain that was going to follow after this happy moment. And that just sent me spiraling into a pit of sadness. It also didn’t help that I wasn’t feeling all fine and dandy when I first started reading. The reading was supposed to pull me out of my slump, but now I’m deeper in. I hate it when that happens. Has this ever happened to you? If so with what book? (Answer in the comments.) On the side note the picture above is the series it’s just missing the 4th book, cause I don’t own it and that is my picture and copies of the books. Well that’s all I have for now.

So until we meet again…

It’s PRETTYMUCH, by the way.

So I just listened to PRETTYMUCH’s song called Lying. Not sure how I feel. I’m a kpop stan but I still appreciate other music but this song is just, I don’t know. I like the beat and the high notes were amazing but honestly it wasn’t very my style. I think that the song was okay and it was catchy but I don’t think I could listen to it on repeat. It’s the classic, still want you kind of song. Where the guy is missing the girl, so it’s kind of basic. I think the lyrics could have been better, as it was a little repetitive. However I noticed that is how they write a lot of their songs. I was looking forward to the rap part, but it was kind of slow and didn’t seem to flow how I wished it did, cause there were a lot of stops between words. I personally like it when raps flow as a continuous lyric, you know? The music video overall was nice. It seemed to be set in a darker, storage or warehouse. I liked all the neon words/graffiti in the background. If you didn’t read my previous post, I would advise you to read as I spoke about my new obsession. That’s all I have for now so…

Until we meet again…

Living for it!

I was watching a drawingwiffwaffles video, she was taking an attempt at painting in a graffiti style. This got me interested in looking at graffiti art/murals. So I took to the internet, like most people today, to google.

I started off with what I knew which was a street artist under the name Banksy who’s work I was interested in for a hot minute in eighth grade after reading a Teenbiz article on his huge museum scandal. (His work was being sold but then proceeded to self shred. )

Love is in the Bin

I did some quick research on the background/history, of graffiti. Cause I’m a dork that loves history. It is interesting because it started in Philadelphia. But I’m not going to go in depth because I don’t want to be an absolute bore, so I’ll move on to what I was planning on writing about.

Moving on from the history and Banksy, I scrolled through the images section and landed on this image of an animated art mural.

So taking interest, I clicked on the link which led me to a bunch of other relevant to the project but not in my interest graffiti murals. I scrolled on the website until I found the same picture and the name of the artist. Joohee Park also known as Stickymonger. If you can’t tell from the title, I am absouletly in love with her work and style. It can be colorful or black and white, I just love how it looks. I just had to gush about it somewhere and this is the only place I know of, besides tumblr (lol.) So yup that’s all for now, just my new obsession with Stickymonger’s work and graffiti.

Joohee Park a.k.a Stickymonger

So until next time…

Patronus

Omg, I just did the patrons quiz on potter more and I like hard core geeked out. Which is kind of sad because I have no one to geek out with. 😦

The graphics were so cool and the lighting was beautiful. I found it a little stressful having to go with my gut feeling because I was being timed. I had missed the first question because I didn’t pick in time. But it’s okay. I got kind of freaked out by the sounds a few times because it sounds really creepy and mysterious and that’s not okay. But overall being a huge potterhead, I loved the whole experience.

Well until next time…
